Lenten Small Groups

Thursday Evenings: The path that led Jesus to the cross and the story told from Genesis onward is a path often paved by tears. Starting February 25th, join us each Thursday evening at 7pm on Zoom for a Lenten small group in conjunction with our Sunday sermon series for Lent: "A Trail Forged by Tears." This group will not have a book to go through. All you need to do is bring yourself and get ready for a meaningful discussion!

Tuesday Mornings: Things have been messy this past year. But, this Lent, we invite everyone to look at their messes through the eyes of Christ. Starting February 23rd, join us Tuesday mornings at 10am on Zoom as we journey through a book called, "Restored: Finding Redemption in Our Mess." Books can be purchased on Cokesbury if you didn’t sign-up for one in advance.

Other Opportunities:

Tea & Conversation

Join us every Thursday at 4pm for an opportunity to connect during a pandemic that often feels so disconnecting. Grab your favorite cup, find a good spot on the couch or table, get your computer or phone onto Zoom, and we'll see you then!

COVID VACCINE POTENTIALS

lately without much luck)

Ways You Can Help Flatten the Fear & Offer Hope to Those Hurting

Instead of giving help, do you need help?

Let us know if you or someone you know needs financial, emotional, or spiritual support

during this pandemic. Our church is here for you!

During the COVID-19 pandemic, our church started Peace Groups as well as intentional spaces for dialogue surrounding the topic of race.

Prior to Advent, we went through a Bible Study called "Come to the Table" and a small group/book group called "Journey to the Light in the Underground" that discussed Colson Whitehead's Pulitzer Prize winning book, "The Underground Railroad." Some of our current studies for the season of Lent are listed toward the top of the page.

Email Pastor Donald at pastordonaldk44@gmail.com if interested in being a part of a future small group opportunity. Our next small group opportunity will be April 15th to May 20th as we delve into a study on Christianity & World Religions.

And join us every week on Pastor Donald's Facebook page for Lighter Lunches!

Lighter Lunches.png

Every Monday at 12:30pm, we invite you to jump onto Pastor Donald's personal Facebook page and join him for an inspirational Facebook Live session for something we’re calling “Lighter Lunches.”

You can eat your lunch while you’re watching it, and we’ve got some special messages and fun things we’re going to be sending your way in the weeks to come. We hope it will prove meaningful for you and especially those who find themselves eating alone more often than not and are feeling the weight and effects of isolation or of being cooped up.

So, let us lighten your Monday lunches by connecting with you in this small but meaningful way as we give you things to feed your faith and spirit as you feed yourself lunch!
